NYS Concealed Carry Firearms Safety Training Course

Course Length: 16 hours of in-person classroom instruction plus 2 hours of live-fire training. Total 18 hours of training.

Cost: $565 (A non-refundable deposit of $200 is required to reserve seat. Full payment due upon arrival the first day of class.

Includes:

  • Classroom instruction per NYS Police guidelines

  • Personal instruction with 18 rounds of practice ammo before qualification

  • Live fire training and qualification course

  • Range fees

  • Targets

  • Pistol permit application review and checklist

  • Copy of course outline and informational documents for questions most asked during the

    interview

  • Certificate of completion

Requirements: Written test score of 80% or higher, passing score on live-fire qualification.

Upcoming available courses:

All classes will be held every Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 5pm, except holiday weekends, with the Live-Fire on the following Tuesday from 3pm to 5pm or Thursday from 3pm to 5pm. Special accommodations can be made for customers who work weekends or cannot do the Live-Fire on the designated weekdays. Please call to reserve a spot.

Small class sizes - Minimum 5, maximum 8 students per class.

Course instructed by UNITED FEDERAL SECURITY, with over 30 years of firearms training. All firearms instructors are not created equal. Firearms Instructor Maurice Pierre is a retired Special Agent with over 26 years in federal law enforcement, 20 of which he was a Firearms instructor. FI Pierre was the Chief Range Officer and was in charge of the Firearms Division for the Dept. Of Justice and the Dept. Of Homeland Security for over 10 Years. His training is extensive and includes Federal, Military, State, IDF, and SAS to list a few. FI Pierre also completed SWAT training with US Border Patrol BORTAC and the Yonkers SWAT. In addition to Sniper training with the FBI.
